Watching boat after boat coming into an already packed dock the other day and then helping out as one boat squeezed into a space only just barely big enough for it, between two other yachts, I was reminded of the importance of having a large roving fender available at all times.
Connie and I bought a new one especially for this purpose because what you don’t want is to be suddenly having to find a fender on your boat that you can spare , when you need one to fend of another boat coming in for the night and not as worried about your gelcoat as you are!!!
