TODAY I LEARNED

Always keep some epoxy handy

Now I should declare that Epoxy is one skill I am still trying to perfect, but using epoxy is easy, getting a neat finish much harder.

Keeping some on your boat along with some chopped strand and assorted fibre glass is an essential part of being able to fix things that just need to be fixed right NOW!!!!

It’d be nice to be able to do a professional job of the finished, but its still nice to have a working water maker in the middle of a crossing, or numerous other things that can be fixed with some chopped strand and epoxy.

Ideally, you should keep some fast set available as well, what is pictured here is the slow set which is easier to work with, but if you are wanting to seal a leak in your boat for instance, you might not want to wait too long.

Epoxy…. the sailors jack of all fixes. Keep some available at all times.
