TODAY I LEARNED

No one ever woke up in the middle of a storm at night and wished they had a smaller anchor

We’ve now had some pretty horrendous storms whilst at anchor and it has not been all fun and joy. We broke our bridle in 67kts at 3am whilst it was snowing in Batsi (Greece).

But one thing we have had confirmed again and again, get a good anchor and get the biggest your boat can handle. The Lagoon 450S can handle a 40kg Rocna and its served us well.

Go big or you might go backwards early in the morning.
