TODAY I LEARNED

Oh a hot cuppa!!!

Its a small thing but a hot drink on a long nights watch is a wonderful thing.

Introducing the insulated cup…. you really need one of these. Ours keep our drinks hot for hours, literally overnight and into the next day.

So make a coffee or tea early, or even before departing your anchorage and have a hot drink available in the middld of the night when the seas are rough and the wind is howling.

Keep hot cups are a godsend on a boat.

  1. I use Contiga West Loop for hot drinks and things like broth. It has tremendous insulation and with the lid closed you can drop kick it across the cockpit without a drip. Similarly for water and other tepid or cool drinks I use the Nalgene On-The-Fly bottle.
