TODAY I LEARNED

We all need a good Hooker

Scrubbing the hull is mostly a free dive exercise for me, but its a lot faster when I use the Hooker.

As in a pipe based air breathing system that allows me to stay under the boat indefinitely whilst I scrub to my hearts content.

I use a home made Hooker that cost me peanuts and works brilliantly. Just be careful to use dive grade hoses and a good quality oilless compressor so you don’t introduce toxic fumes to your breathing delight.

Hooker, definitely a relaxing way to spend an hour or so.

    1. I have a water trap and small filter just after the compressor. The air we breath is quite dry and very clean as a result, there is also a course intake filter, just to make sure nothing like dust is drawn in, in the first place.
