Feeling rather beaten up by the unrelenting and cold wind, I decided to take a little gaunt to the other side of the island today.
My Little EUC is quite a capable beast, getting along at 30-40kph (I average 28.9kph for the trip) which is quite respectable along Greek island roads. With a range of approximately 80-100km I can cover more ground than my legs will allow.

Old man syndrome slowing me down I’m afraid.

It was only a short jaunt of 3-4km over the hill to Porto Nikola.
But what I found there was calm and shelter from the wind, sunshine that , without the thief of warmth, wind, was strongly felt on my back and brought a moment of joy and adventure.
After all isn’t that what living is all about.
