TODAY I LEARNED

Ask the pertinent questions…..

In my last post I encouraged you to join a cruisers forum and gather people, virtually, who can help you.

But I also warned that misinformation can be just as commonly dispensed out as well as good information.

So how do you tell? By asking the right questions, we have had strongly worded advice about crossing oceans from people who don’t even own a boat and softly suggested improvements from those that have crossed far too many oceans to not know what works.

Ask the pertinent questions of those you are listening too… “What boat do they own?”, “How long have they been sailing” and very importantly, “is this what they do/did in this situation?”.
