Drones: Wonderful and Wonderfully frustrating all at the same time

If you have ever wondered about getting a drone for your boats videography or photography, here’s the problem.

Drones have become socially unacceptable in many parts of the world, or legally prohibited, either because of flight zones (aircraft) military zones or privacy laws.

The end result is we have a drone, but fly it incredibly infrequently. it gets great images, I must admit and I love the photography I get from it, but in anchorages generally seen as antisocial, in most ports prohibited and if a lot of countries in general you’ll get it confiscated, Greece, Spain etc. (Although you see lots of them flying in these destinations, they are actually illegal).

So to drone or not to drone? I think the answer is if you can afford to have one around… they are really lovely, but otherwise, don’t bother.
