Who am I; I’m trying to be retired but have been a technical developer of some sort or another for over 30 years for some of the worlds biggest IT companies.
I do not put myself forward as a Marine expert; But I do understand how these things work and have personally built my own Marine MFD’s, NMEA integrations, Marine Ethernet and WIFI implementations, Lithium battery bank, BMS system, Charging systems, Solar, AIS etc. etc.
The problem seems to be where do you go for help?; Well I’ve decided, time to give back and if I can help, I’ll help.
Why?; I’m fairly new to this cruising/sailing lifestyle and have received huge amounts of help with never an ask for payment. So I guess giving back to that community and/or paying it forward.
Do you want to make money?; We all need money, but I figure if I give freely then perhaps I’ll create something of value. Maybe that will be a huge ring of friends? that’d do.
